Video- Crouch red card vs Real Madrid 2011 Champions League

Apr 6, 2011

This Peter Crouch red card vs Real Madrid cost Tottenham dearly as they were beaten 4-0 by Los Blancos in the first leg of their Champions League. The Crouch red card vs Real came within the first quarter of the CL fixture, meaning that Tottenham had to play over 70 minutes with ten men.

Crouch first picked up a yellow card for a foul on Sergio Ramos and then earned a second yellow for a foul on Marcelo that led to the referee giving him a red card and his marching orders.

Peter Crouch In Transvestite Shocker: Hotel Video Reveals All

England and Tottenham forward Peter Crouch is today embroiled in a cross dressing drama that threatens to put further weight on his already strained relationship with fiancée Abby Clancy. Last night the lanky White Hart Lane striker was staying at a plush Central London hotel when staff were left perplexed by a late night visitor to his room.

Some hours after the giant footballer checked into his suite the staff at the trendy La Fir Polo hotel an extremely tall female arrived and asked for a spare key to Crouch’s room. The concierge on duty last night admitted being ‘deeply confused’ by the manner in which the ‘lady’ was dressed. She appeared to be wearing a high quality designer made knee length dress that was clearly ill fitting on her elongated frame. Her bring red shoes also seemed far too small and clearly walking was a struggle but perhaps most shocking was her bright blonde wig that was so large as to obscure the view of her face, which turned out to be a fairly poorly thought out diguise.

At first they assumed that the lady visitor was an escort but on closer inspection they realised that the 6ft 6in female was in fact Peter Crouch dressed, poorly, as a woman. When pressed on the subject he at first put on a shrill lady-like voice and proclaimed “I am not Peter, my name is Petra” before walking speedily onwards to his eighth floor suite.

Crouch has been in a fair bit of bother with the media in recent months after being caught in compromising positions with prostitute Monica Mint and more recently in a reportedly innocent liaison with a air hostess, news that he has not been caught with another woman may at least come as a pleasant surprise for fiancée Abigail Clancy, who recently gave birth to the couple’s first child earlier this month.

Crouch scores as Spurs shock Milan in late finish

By Shourin Roy on February 15, 2011 3:17 PM | Comments | TrackBacksShare|

Peter Crouch might have scored the goal but the architect was Aaron Lennon bursting forth leaving Mario Yepes sprawling in his wake.

Spurs shrugged off the loss of Luka Modric and Gareth Bale as they went on the offensive through Rafael Van der Vaart with Sandro and Wilson Palacios bolstering the midfield. A slew of near misses and a goalkeeper change as Marco Amelia came in for the injured Christian Abbiati kept Milan on the backfoot.

On the other hand, Milan looked like they were expecting Spurs to prolong their record of failing to keep a clean sheet. Chances were few and far in between. Massimiliano Allegri opting to keep Clarence Seedorf instead of Alexander Pato was a bit baffling. A realization that dawned too late. Milan redoubled their efforts but Spurs this time were not found wanting. Gomes pulled off a stellar save from Yepes to prevent Milan from levelling.

Milan made waves in other ways as Mathieu Flamini hobbled Vedran Corluka giving Jonathan Woodgate his first start since November 2009. The former Arsenal defender should have been sent off by all indications. Rini Gattuso lived up to his snarling dog reputation headbutting Joe Jordan at halftime.

Spurs now need to hold on at White Hart to keep their Champions League dream alive. Milan will come at them.

Feb 15, 2011

This Peter Crouch goal vs AC Milan gave Tottenham Hotspur the lead in the first leg of their round of sixteen clash at the San Siro.

ACM vs Tottenham 0-1 ( 15th February 2011)

The Crouch goal vs Milan was a perfect example of counter attacking football from Spurs, with speedy winger Aaron Lennon producing an excellent assist for the lanky striker.

Crouch and Bale put on a show against Young Boys, 4-0

By Shourin Roy on August 25, 2010 6:03 PM | Comments | TrackBacksShare|

Spurs swept aside Young Boys at the Lane, 4-0 to progress on aggregate (6-3) to the CL first round. Gareth Bale continues to burnish his credentials as one of the most exciting players to come out of Britain in recent years.

He had a hand in each of the goals today. Peter Crouch was on the receiving end of Bale's crosses and a PK courtesy when the Welshman was brought down by Lulic to score his hattrick.

The other goal was scored by Jermain Defoe who got away with a handball. He fires his shot into goal and then slyly looks around to see if it would be called back. Video clearly showing his handball. A mysterious figure with a sinister looking instrument (a cattle prod?) in hand on the sideline was the subject of much conjecture.

Spurs were helped to a large extent by some inept defending by Young Boys who lived up to their name by their naive and nervy display. But a raucous home crowd will surely celebrate a most famous victory that sees them enter their first CL competition since its modern inception.

Defoe himself will be out with surgery for a groin problem which will take two months to heal - so this game will occupy a special place in his heart.
