There’s no denying it was an utterly dismal performance from the boys in the Halloween kit today. You would think that with the Torres rumors, it might convince Drogba and Anelka to work hard to prove we don’t need the Spaniard. Apparently not.
At least someone looked pretty promising…
Having Lampard back didn’t spur us on at all either, and in all honesty I probably would have started with Lampard in place of Essien, not Mikel. Big Pete, as usual, and Ramires emerged with the most credibility from a match we were lucky to get anything from. A full recap is sure to come soon.
