Bad news before the Marseille game

vidicWord is, Vidic isn’t fit to play and we’re going to see a central defensive pairing of Smalling and Brown. If it is indeed them and they play like they did against Liverpool (especially Brown), we will surely be competing for one less trophy come this time tomorrow.

In fairness to the duo, they were hardly protected by the midfield in front of them (Carrick & Scholes) and as a result, were dragged out of position with relative ease. Knowing all of this, don’t be surprised if Sir Alex opts to clog our midfield with players like O Shea in an attempt to provide more protection for the backline.

It worked against Arsenal. Could it possibly work yet again?

Tweet « Overloading on defenders? | Home | Edw3147Never underestimate a Smalling-Brown combination when the need arises. Never believe that Vidic will not be able to play against Marseilles until Sir Alex Ferguson says so. Never write off Manchester United whatever the true situation at Old Trafford may be. Never write off the SPIRIT at MANCHESTER UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB whatever others say or think. Afterall Manchester United is not a one man team. It has always risen up like a phoenix when people least expect it to. Watch the team go ... just watch them go!blog comments powered by Disqus
