Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines headline the list of Blues who are in international action this weekend. The pair have been named on Fabio Capello’s squad for the EURO 2012 qualifier against Wales in Cardiff on Saturday and a Wembley friendly against Ghana on Wednesday.

Also few injury updates that make my last opinion article look a little foolish, Louis Saha fears that he is out for the season after the ankle injury he suffered against Fulham, and reports from Goal.com among other places are suggesting that Jack Rodwell is also out for the season after suffering an injury in training with the U21 England National Team. In addition, Seamus Coleman withdrew from the Ireland side after being unable to recover from an ankle injury suffered against Fulham, but it seems unlikely that he would miss any games for Everton.
