Shout-out to the Black Cats

sunderland defBig thank you to ol boy Brucie and his rearguard of Mensah, Bramble, Bardsley and Ferdinand for defending like a fortress at the Emirates. A special mention goes out to Welbeck who was making a return from injury and nearly nicked a goal shortly after coming on with a nice shot on the turn.

Our lead at the top has been chipped away at, but only by 1 pt instead of the 3 that many of us were anticipating heading into Saturday. Let’s put on a good show at Anfield and do our best to put the pressure back on the Gunners.

ps-Arsenal wrongly had a goal disallowed for offside and also should have been awarded a penalty in the 2nd half. The ref and linesman both failed to notice the push by Bramble on Arshavin. Maybe this is what people mean when they say that all the missed/awful calls by refs even themselves out over the course of the season…

For all your objections to swearing, take a look AT THIS - It’s official “Topping the location-based social service's list of foul-mouthed cities: Manchester, England.” …The Manchester Evening News reacted rather placidly to the report, writing that "though the number one spot might not be great news for Manchester, there are no shortage of Mancs who live up to the foul-mouthed standard."

I hope you're swearing your head off come the end of Sunday's match. Cheerio.blog comments powered by Disqus
