When reading headlines like ‘Russian riot police accused of zapping player’, the immediate thought is this took place in the 47th division on a frozen pasture a few hundred miles north of Vladivostok in a town no one’s ever heard of nor did anyone think they might have access to a taser. You don’t really expect said player to be one of the stars of Zenit St. Petersburg.
Danko Lazovic did that which happens at every single game in every single league in every single country in the world: he took off his shirt and gave it to a fan. And for this act of human generosity, he will suffer uncontrollable urination anytime a bee buzzes too closely.
