Best (pseudo) news ever? Kakuta nears new deal

By: Jack | September 9th, 2010

From French media outlet Le10Sport: ”(Chelsea) are currently negotiating a contract extension with Gael Kakuta. Under contract until June 2011, the French midfielder, 18, should, according to our information, sign up for five more seasons with Chelsea. The Lille-born youngster would therefore remain at the club until June 2016. And, it seems the deal is nearing completion.”

Obviously there has been no confirmation, nor do we have any clue how reliable this Le10Sport is. Nevertheless, I’m amped about the development – even if there isn’t one.

Get this kid his deal. Now.
