have united ever gone the entire season unbeaten ???????Rupie MurdieBecause he was won Arsenal less trophies than Liverpool in the past 6-7 years?Ga81utopiaThe club management and esp. Wenger should change the money bagging approach and think seriously about winning things. I will not be going to the emirates, will not renew my membership and will not spend a dime on the merchandise, not until Arsenal win something. :(Illinois_GoonerI'm just so frustrated. Looking at the rest or our games and our current for. I don't see us winning any of them. Here's to playing in the Europa League next year.Rupie MurdieYou god damn bottlers! Why does Arsene insist on handing the title to the mancs and the chavs every fucking year!Double downSo this is how the season ends, not with a bang but a whimper!Alex WainWilshere heads over to the Arsenal fans and throws his shirt into the crowd - he's the only one left on the pitch. It was a typical Arsenal display, silky and smooth, but not potent enough. We're nine points behind Manchester United now and gone.JGWell, that's that.
I want Hazard and full-back capable of offering a decent cross in the summer.Illinois_GoonerUntil Wenger starts playing Bendtner of Chamack in the center, there's no reason to have a good crosser in the team.Alex WainQuestion now is, can we finish in the top 4?MikeWhen the biggest shows of heart come from a 19 year old and a 20 year old I think it's pretty obvious what the problem is.

AW can say the team is young but the youngest guys on the pitch are the closest there are to leaders.Alex WainFFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!adamyou know what, arsenal fucking deserve this loss. they've been playing like shit, and there's no other excuse.AMapsIt's even worse than Wigan last year. Ugh.Orion_saidwiseguyYeah, mental strength my ass.Alex WainWenger slams the ball into the turf after a throw in call goes against him - massive tension here. COME ON YOU GUNNERS!MikeEvery time they cut to a shot of AW he looks ever closer to losing his shit completely. I frankly worry about his mental health - he takes it all very personally.AMapsAnd also, what has gotten into Nasri today? He is usually more reliable when it comes to finishing.Georgedb1how this game isnt 1-3 or 1-4 is beyond meAlex WainArsenal most definitely should be in front now. Nasri's chance was glorious. Wenger screamed: "No! No!" as Chamakh tried to pass to Nasri from the ball over the top rather than go for goal.AMapsWish Jack would just learn how to shoot. Ugh.Mutiuit is now 1 - 1 . thank GODmutiubolton 1 - 0 arsenal with our full squad oh , it will be a shame if loose the matchAlex WainGET IN THERE!Georgedb1I say this again, and I will keep saying it - Szczesny is our new David Seaman, that lad is already living up to all the shit talk he talked in August, and has a stellar future with Arsenal

Great goal by RvPJGWojo, you fucking HERO!adambeautifulMikeSee what happens when you just shoot the ball!Rickey_banksRVP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Rickey_banksSaved penalty.....come on ARSENAL!!! good save shez!Alex WainThe rumour is he has 40 million to spend on new players. I agree with Wenger, in the sense that bringing someone in, stops the development of a younger player. The average age of the team is 23.

But what we really lack, is someone who will fire up and really get in people's faces and grab a game by the scruff of it's neck. All very well saying Rosicky is captain for his team and Ramesy for Wales and even Nasri for France - but we've never really replaced Veira in that sense. No true fighter. Diaby? I wish!

Man Utd have Rooney & Rio (before that Keane), Chelsea have Terry & Drogba, even Man City have Tevez & De Jong and who do we have?

The only person I can think of is Tommy V - and he's been injured.MikeCompletely agree. I think even the current CBs are headed in the right direction, but they aren't leaders.

And of course as I type that a soft, soft penalty is given on Djourou. But Wojo saves!

My question for debate - what leader is available to buy?Alex WainVan Der Vaart for 8 million - oh whoooops that was last summer! We need someone like a De Rossi or Mascherano - with a bit of steel and grit, to compliment the wonderful vision of everyone else in midfield! You are right though, there aren't many. I mean, lord even West Ham have Scott Parker.SJGgumbyI think I've finally come to grips with the fact that we should feel fortunate that this team will finish in the top 3 or 4 and play in the ECL next year, rather than feel disappointed that we fell out of the title race. I do hope that Wenger finds a way to strengthen the squad over the summer, because I'm not sure this level of performance equals a top-5 finish next year.Ianwasnt that what every1 was saying last year? but look at us now.
dont lose faith man. next season is a whole new ballgameSJGgumbyAgreed that we were saying the same thing last year, but I think we'd really be riding our luck to count on the other teams performing like they did last year. Certainly not losing faith - this is still a team that has finished in the top-4 since what, 1996? Still, we're closer to falling out of that range than climbing to the top.

Also, that sure looked like a dive.MikeSort of comforting to see another side trying to walk the ball into the net as well. It's not just an "Arsenal problem."MikeOf course they have teeth on set pieces.MartinInteresting that Bolton are playing Sturridge, Davies, and Elmander together -- Elmander supposedly in a central midfield role. Can't accuse them of sitting back, they're really looking for 3 points in this one.RedCapedWondercurse you for saying this
JGHave been away for a while. Let's hope this team keeps the hope alive, COME ON ARSENAL!blog comments powered by Disqus
