Remember when we were left ruing the departure of Carlos Tevez?
Who was going to buddy up to Park when Evra was not around? Who was going to chase down every loose ball and put goalkeepers under pressure every time an opposing defender played it back instead of forward?
How were we going to ever replace the man from Argentina who would run his lungs out every time he was on the pitch effectively earning him the title of “trier” by SAF? Where else could we find a forward who could match and complement Rooney’s constant movement up front?
Step forward Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez.
A trier.
A goalscorer.
A savior (in multiple games this season).
A lover of the game.
A lover of the club.
And hopefully soon, a PL winner.
