Tweet « CL Preview: Chelsea v. Manchester United | Home | MotM Poll: Chelsea 0-1 Manchester United »KeefThe first goal was vital, and then we were struggling. Man Yoo so it out without much trouble, which was worrying.
Jerkoff should be sold, he is shocking. Russian Ronaldinho my arse.
Anelka was ok when he come on as did Malouda. Frank had a shocker today.

4 mins of injury time ? Feck should have been about 8 ! I think football matches should have rugby style clocks so we all know what's going on, there was one injury alone that took 3 mins to sort out. Add them all up and take account for the subs there should have been a lot more time than that.

What are those idiots doing behind the goal, that was as clear a pen as you will see, unbelievable.

but overall we never did enough, big improvement needed for 2nd leg.JackThanks for the comment, Keef. I agree for the most part.AdyatamaOkaay wake me up when the new season 10/11 starts, It seems like the squad is back to depression again.... seriously we need some more motivator in the team?! Ancelotti needs help in motivating department!!Mateoi think it comes down to efficiency, Manu had 2 maybe 3 chances. they scored, we on the other hand missed quite a few: Ramires missed a clear header, Torres and lampard missed a sitter at the end of the first half and VDS saved 2 great chances from torres and drogba. all along i dont think we played terrible, we even got a better passing stats than them (even when for some part of the game we couldn't get 1 pass on target.) my main concern is about tactics, after rafael's injury they where left with no rightback (valencia covered for him) but still he is not a true rightback, yet NO ONE exploited that flank... i really cant get my head around that. zhircov didnt do SHIT flo didnt do SHIT. torres besides failing to score (again) actually played better than ive seen from him so far (despite acting like a pussy when Rio and Vidic hassled him around..
in conclusion i dont think Manu was superior to us, we just failed to read the game properly. and i dont feel its a lost cause, i could see a 0-2 at old trafford next week.JackI do agree that we had our chances, but still think United were far superior. I mean how sad is it that a midfield of Park and Carrick can overrun us?Thatguy2525Why is it every time Torres is in the lineup we stagger?? Right he now he is just not what we need. Put Drogba up top if you want him to do his job, or play them together up top. But don't stagger them, Drogba isn't a mid. Ancelotti doesn't seem to have a clue with his lineups and substitutions.ph0bolusThe whole f***ing squad needs some of those NZT pills...Pretty sure I can put a better ball into the box than Bosingwa can...JackAnd likely not misjudge a diagonal from Carrick. That was absolutely inexcusable.ChelseaSo here is a message to our Chelsea players for the return leg @ Old Trafford. It's a poem from Dylan Thomas, and I hope they read it and emulate the saying of the poem in all of its majesty.

DO NOT GO GENTLE INTO THAT GOOD NIGHT

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rage at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, "Chelsea players", there on the sad height,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
JackHaha, I just keep picturing Rodney Dangerfield reciting this in 'Back to School.' Well put, sir.JackOh, how typical? The Champions League never fails to do it to us.

Still, we were poor and deserved to lose. Just awful. Well done to Carlo for taking off Drogba and brining on Mikel with 10 minutes to go. Mikel with 10 to go?SharinganfxLet's face it, Torres ain't scoring this season. However, that should not discourage the rest of the team from doing so. Not impossible to take it in the 2nd leg, be nice to win it at OT.ChelseaChelsea 0: 1 Manchester United. Goal from Rooney in the 1st half.
Game is Over. 2nd Leg @ Old Trafford.ASRshould of been a penalty and a red card to boot...ChelseaFuck You Ferdinand!!! He did it again trying to intimidate Torres b/c he is accusing Torres of diving for a penalty. F****Him! Where are our bullies to straighten Ferdinand.
Ashley Cole Get Your Gun. Ready! We are gonna have shooting practice on bully Ferdinand.ChelseaThat's a PENALTY ON EVRAChelseaPENALTY?????????????????????????????Chelsea90:00 minutes played. 4 additional minutes to go.ChelseaCome on Anelka use your head or body and freaking score!Chelsea5 minutes to go to salvage any honor from this awful season and to redeem ourselves for Moscow.
But it seems we have nowhere to go. No Exit!Chelsea40 years old Ryan just dribbled past Bosingwa just like a rocket. Remind me of the one touch dribble past Bosingwa defying the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle.Mateoancelotti is a really weird person. first, the Flo-Zhircov sub comes about 10 minutes late. second. why take out drogba for anelka, when they pair up much better thank with torres, and also drogba has been the only one trying to do anythingorthodoxyordeathNo Anelka and Torres have paired much together actually...Thatguy2525yeah, but they usually suck together. We usually score when Torres comes off!!JoshThere goes Carlo, making substitutions 20 minutes too late again...JoshWell, with that away goal, Man U will wrap this round up. It's pretty much over already. Now I know what it feels like to be an Arsenal fan.... this sucks.AnyoneSeeMartinAtkinsonTonightAre you sure you know what it feels to be an Arsenal fan just yet? They havent won anything in over 5 years!ChelseaBy the way Man Utd is playing defensive and on the counteroffensive but playing to their strengh. Chelsea, on the other hand, cannot seem to find any scoring opportunities. Van der Sar is having a stroll in the park.

They almost scored on a counteroffensive by the way. If we dont tie this game, we will lose for good. Nani is their main architect on the counter-offense.Sharinganfxanco's special tacticsorthodoxyordeathNO LEAVE ZHIRKOV ON DANG ITTTTTTTT!!!!ChelseaIt's getting awfully quiet on this side? Does anyone think we can miraculously win this game or even just tie it?DennyAnelka on, hopefully he can play in Torres better.ChelseaThis must be the Didier Drogba show! He is the only one active in the 2nd half so far with the ball on the right hand side.ChelseaPrima Donna vs Collective Unit of hardworking rugged players.Chelsea"Hopes pinned back on CL"? I dont think we had any hopes this season! All our hopes have been taken away. We are no longer dealing with hopes but facing the cold hard reality of life.ChelseaI am befuddled by the fact that J. Park is defending the likes of Drogba, Bosingwa and he has gotten the better end of the deal on them on countless occasions.ChelseaDrogba that acrobatic play was unnecessary especially when there are many chelsea players in the box to play to.ChelseaI know Chicarito just scored a goal that was the result of an offside play...but look at the difference. Just one touch and the ball is in the back of the net.
Chelsea, on the other hand, must attempt a thousand touches to find the back of the net.
DesaillyAm I the only one who would rather have Drogba in the area attacking these set plays rather than taking them?
I mean Frank can deliver them just fine.ChelseaNani for Rafael. Nani is not a natural defender...so Chelsea could have an opening with Man U's vulnerability.ChelseaRafael is badly in pain. He collided with Drogba. Certainly no one wants to see a player injured. He is off.ChelseaRamires missed a header.ChelseaZhirkov are you aiming that ball towards Mars?ChelseaThe 2nd half has started by the way but Rafael is injured.DennyMalouda or Kalou on? God we are missing David Luiz right now, there needs to be that spark on the field.JackNeither. Get Mikel in there, move Essien to right back and go 4-3-3.JackBosingwa woeful for the goal. Essien woeful for the game.

I'm not a believer in fate, but that sequence right before the half could change my perspective on the subject.Mateoi havent seen anything from Ramires or zhirkov, that kinda worries me (specially Rams.)Mateo123seems they arrived 44 minutes late to the gameChelseaThis f*************** awful!!!ASRman.. bosingwa is liable for the goal.. and a few cheap giveaways... he needs to play w/ his head more...

should of tied it up at the end of the half there...DennyBosingwa had a couple good runs but he needs to clean up his game.ChelseaDAMN IT HALFTIME! 1:0 for Man U.Sharinganfxmy mouth is open in awe. is this like punishment for us scoring so much last yearChelseaWhat was that????????????????????ChelseaOr who missed that freaking sitter?ChelseaDid LAMPARD miss that?ChelseaIs Ferdinand a punk? Trying to intimidate Torres? Where are our players to Torres's defense?!AnyoneSeeMartinAtkinsonTonightSurrounding the Referee as per usual trying to get the penalty!JackI'm kind of sick right now.DennyThis is pathetic. Which team showed up today?ChelseaBoth have. Except Man U is winning and Chelsea cant find a way to win. Always short of their goal!ChelseaI see Roman Abramovich with his girlfriend in the stands. I can only guess what he is feeling inside.Sharinganfxessien couldn't handle jones and now can't handle rooney...seems to be losing his bisonessChelseaManchester Utd is a very clever team.DesaillyWell this aint pretty...5-2 Schalke vs InterI dont want to overreact too early...but God forbid if we lose this game, Carlo Ancelotti must be fired. Just simple!ChelseaWe have conceded.Sharinganfxwe've always conceded first again united.MateoLately we concede first against anyone :SJackPretty good start.Mateoagree, i like torres so far and our midfield is retrieving lots of ballsMateoWTF? wasn't Ferdinand totally out of question also Rafael? nice to see Nani on the bench though, hope Rio's lack of form backfires on ferguson.

on the other hand, great to see Zhirkov starting, hope he can boost our midfield abilities to give play to our front line.JackHeard Rafael was fit early yesterday, but thought Rio wouldn't be risked. Perhaps he pull up lame in the opening half?blog comments powered by Disqus
