During a recent clash between Swedish League sides Helsingborgs IF vs. Malmö HD, it seems one particular drunken and foolish Malmo HD fan decided to invade the pitch and attack Par Hansson, the Helsingborgs goalie. Mister Hansson happened to to be right near the ref and most of his team at the time, and mayhem insued.

Ivory Coast international Gervinho could be on the move next summer as he doesn’t plan to accept Lille’s latest contract offer.
The 23-year-old forward has attracted a lot of attention with his performances for Lille and he is thought to be looking for a new challenge.
Les Gones have offered the player a new and improved contract as his current one is set to expire in June 2012, but Gervinho is unlikely to accept it as he plans to leave the club at the end of the season.
The latest news will alert a number of interested clubs, such as Liverpool, Tottenham and Atletico Madrid since Lille could be forced to sell the forward in the summer should he reject a contract extension.

The visitors went ahead through Ailton 29 minutes in, but Mirassol hit back to lead at half-time thanks to goals from Wellington Amorim and Diego Correa.

Mon 14 February, 2011Blackpool boss Ian Holloway faces a goalkeeping crisis after Paul Rachubka injured his knee in training and could be out for up to six months.
With Matt Gilks, the club’s first-choice stopper, still six weeks away from returning to action due to a knee problem of his own, Holloway will have to rely on Ghanaian Richard Kingson for Saturday’s game with Aston Villa.
Kingson had started 11 games in Gilks’ absence but was dropped for last weekend’s 5-3 defeat to Everton after suffering from head and knee injuries himself – and Holloway admits he will try and sign a keeper on an emergency loan.
“Paul Rachubka has gone and injured himself again, which leaves us with only one fit goalie,” said Holloway.
“He’s come through all that over the last five or six months, he’s got himself fully fit, and then an injury in training and he’s gone. And he might be out for another five or six months.”
“We are going to have to try (to sign another goalkeeper). Richard won’t mind me saying this – he is probably more patched up than anybody I’ve got in my squad.”
“He is a wonderful lad, but he was injured last week when he split his head open, and he had a bad knee the week before that. So I think we can easily prove that we are a little bit short and hopefully common sense will prevail.”
“We reported it straight away and I’m sure we can prove we need another one in – it’s just who, and from where.”
Holloway admits he is still unsure whether his side are good enough to avoid relegation. A fine start to the season saw Blackpool ease clear of the bottom three but a run of five successive defeats has left them just two points above 18th-placed Wigan.
“Are we strong enough? No-one knew at the start of the season, and we still don’t know now because a win this week and a win next week and we could be way up the league,” he said.
“Last season, some teams at this level went down with 30 points, and one more win, whether that keeps us safe or not, puts us on 31 points.”

Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen has revealed that the club is interested in signing Ajax goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.
United is expected to sign a new goalkeeper in the summer, as Edwin van der Sar has announced that he will retire at the end of the season.
“Stekelenburg is indeed the goalkeeper who is at the top of our wanted list,” said Meulensteen to Voetbal International.
“We have naturally been talking a lot among ourselves about who should replace Van der Sar.
“Alex Ferguson has spoken about Stekelenburg with Edwin and that does not seem strange to me at all.”

Young goalkeeper hangs himself after discovering that his fiancée slept with John Terry’s brother
A young goalkeeper hanged himself after his fiancée left him for his team mate – who is John Terry’s brother.
Dale Roberts, 24, killed himself after his 25-year-old partner Lindsay Cowen had an affair with his Rushden and Diamonds team mate Paul Terry.
Lindsay left Roberts in May after Terry slept with her while staying at the couple’s home.
Distraught Roberts refused to play alongside his cheating team mate at the Conference club and Terry was swiftly released and joined Darlington in August.
Paul is the elder brother of Chelsea and England footballer John Terry. His fling mirrors that of John’s alleged affair with Vanessa Perroncel, ex-girlfriend of the star’s England colleague Wayne Bridge.
Lindsey admitted the affair when a suspicious Dale confronted her at their home in Higham Ferrers, Nothamptonshire.
Last night, the 24-year-old was found dead in the house. Police said there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
Roberts was left heartbroken by the split and struggled to cope with losing his fiancée, according to friends.
A source said: ‘They (Lindsay and Paul) became an item after Paul stayed the night at the couple’s home in Higham Ferrers when Dale was injured.
‘All hell broke loose and Paul ended up being released as the rest of the team didn’t want to play in the same side as him.
‘Dale has been heartbroken about it ever since.’ (Daily Mail)
Tributes are pouring in for the former Nottingham Forest and Rushden & Diamonds goalie and of course are thoughts are with his friends and family at this tragic time. Dale Roberts at just 24 had a great deal to offer both in terms of his footballing career and indeed his life as a whole and this is a very tragic case indeed.

Enough about me though.
A couple of big stories have broken this week in the world of Bolton Wanderers football. The two biggest though are what we’ll cover today. First off, Wigan want Ali Al-Habsi, who is on a year-long loan at the club, on a permanent deal with reports saying that boss Roberto Martinez is looking to make a deal in the January transfer window for our number two goalkeeper. Owen Coyle wants to see Al-Habsi return to the Wanderers next season to fight for a starting spot. Judging by the form that Al-Habsi has been in thus far this season, he may very well do that.
That being said, it is unlikely that the Oman international will like to sit on the bench for another season after being handed the starting role so many times at Wigan. If Bolton are unable to keep him in the long term, they would at least like to see Al-Habsi return to BWFC in the summer so that the matter can be discussed further.
The other big story that broke is one that is frankly more unfortunate. News broke on Thursday that our Croatian goal machine, Ivan Klasnic, had been in arrested in Manchester City centre on rape charges. Details are still scarce and Ivan is innocent until proven guilty but here is what we do know so far:
The girl is 17 years old.
A spokesman from the Greater Manchester Police stated that:
“Shortly before 5am on Monday 25 October 2010, police were called following a report that a 17-year-old had been raped.
“A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape and released on bail pending further inquiries until 1 November 2010.”
Klasnic has been released on bail but there’s no word from him or the team yet. Wait and see, I guess. Good luck, Ivan.
