Video Goal- Robert Snodgrass penalty vs Arsenal

Jan 8, 2011

This Robert Snodgrass penalty vs Arsenal very nearly gave Leeds United an upset win over the Gunners in the FA Cup on January 8, 2011. Unfortunately for Leeds, Cesc Fabregas scored the equaliser for Arsenal from the penalty spot, thereby ensuring that the tie went into a replay.

Leeds got the penalty when Denilson clumsily fouled Max Gradel in the box. Snodgrass duly converted the penalty- his fifth strike of the season away from Elland Road.

Tottenham Boss Harry Redknapp and Robert Pires Square Up (Video)

As a cliché ridden commentator would probably say, this is all just handbags but it does make you wonder what Harry Redknapp said to former Arsenal legend Robert Pires as it appeared to rile up the Aston Villa man. Love the way Joe Jordan just stares sedately at the Frenchman as he walks away. I am sure they all made up after the match.

West Ham Keeper Robert Green Realises Arms Can be Used for Something Other Than a Fumble

Now let me start by saying that the Upton Park keeper is a good player and he had a great game against Tottenham but maybe he should wait a while before showing his anger towards the media he believes has hounded him over recent bungles he has committed. Yes he managed a clean sheet but it was his first in ten Premier League matches so maybe it is worth putting in a few more good displays before going on the offensive. After all the former Norwich City man has made a catalogue of errors since his huge error at the World Cup and he is the only one to blame for those not the evil journalists who admittedly will jump all over such dastardly deeds with great relish.
