This Robert Snodgrass penalty vs Arsenal very nearly gave Leeds United an upset win over the Gunners in the FA Cup on January 8, 2011. Unfortunately for Leeds, Cesc Fabregas scored the equaliser for Arsenal from the penalty spot, thereby ensuring that the tie went into a replay.
Leeds got the penalty when Denilson clumsily fouled Max Gradel in the box. Snodgrass duly converted the penalty- his fifth strike of the season away from Elland Road.

Lee Bowyer scored a somewhat controversial equaliser vs Manchester United for Birmingham City on December 28, 2010.
With Birmingham City trailing 1-0, Roger Johnson whipped the ball into the box. The ball hit Nikola Zigic’s arm before falling for Bowyer, who slid in from close range. Birmingham’s own little version of Hand of God!

An amazing free kick from Dorel Stoica in the game between Universitatea Craiova and CFR Cluj Napoca. From 40 metres out, Stoica hits an arrow like free kick that the opposition keeper is helpless to stop.

After Fahad Khalfan’s miss at the 2010 Asian Games, we have another contender for worst miss of 2010. This one comes from Borussia Dortmund’s Polish midfielder Jakub Kuba Blaszczykowski, who produces an amazing open goal miss in the latter stages of his side’s Bundesliga game against SC Freiburg. Blaszczykowski is ten yards away from goal, with not a single opposition player in sight, but he still manages to miss the target.
Fortunately for Blaszczykowski, his horror miss did not cost Dortmund as they ended up winning the game 2-1.

This has to be the miss of 2010, if not the miss of the century.
Qatar striker Fahad Khalfan has the easiest tasks to complete, but somehow, inexplicably, hits the post instead of slotting into an empty goal from point blank range. Qatar were playing Uzbekistan in the 2010 Asian Games. Even worse for Khalfan, Qatar would have definitely won the game had he scored ( his chance was in the dying seconds of the game)
