Rio Ferdinand and Mario Balotelli In Post FA Cup Semi Final Fight (Video)

4 comments by Mad Dog and Glory on April 17th, 2011

OK fight might be the wrong term, perhaps tussle is a better word. Either way it appears that Mario Balotelli angered Rio Ferdinand in some manner and it appears it could have something to do with taunting Man United fans after the final whistle. Either way it was all something over nothing and Shaun Wright Phillips stepped in to stop anything get out of hand, which is quite brace given that the Man City winger is about a metre shorter than either protagonist!

Mario Balotelli Ferdinand Fight Video- FA Cup Semi Final 2011- April

Apr 17, 2011

This Balotelli Ferdinand fight took place right after the FA Cup semifinal between Manchester United and Man City, which the latter edged 1-0, thanks to a solitary Yaya Toure goal.

Both Mario Balotelli and Rio Ferdinand are known for their fragile tempers and it is no wonder that the two got involved in a fight. Ferdinand was on the verge of grabbing Balotelli’s shirt, but the Balotelli vs Ferdinand fight was broken up by Man City manager Roberto Mancini and his assistant David Platt.

Roberto Mancini Confident Mario Balotelli can Improve On and Off the Pitch

Roberto Mancini has praised Mario Balotelli following his team’s crushing 5-0 victory over Sunderland. The wayward striker failed to get on the scoresheet, but his performance impressed the City boss who hopes it is a sign of things to come.

‘Mario was perfect today,’ Mancini told reporters. ‘It wasn’t important he didn’t score today. He worked for the team, he ran all day, he was perfect. He must continue this.’

There have been strains on the relationship between the two as a result of the erratic behaviour of the Italian striker who has made headlines for all the wrong reasons since his arrival at Eastlands.

Recent controversies have included a fine for lobbing darts at a youth team player, an incident in which Balotelli’s sports car was smashed in and a red card in the Europa League last 16-clash with Dinamo Kiev.

Mancini has admitted that Balotelli’s behaviour has been unacceptable since his

Mario Balotelli; Change Your Attitude or Leave

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has something every other manager in world club football would give a right arm for; a blank cheque book. The City manager has vast financial backing and the ability to throw millions of pounds at international footballers around the globe to try and attract them to ply their trade at Eastlands. The Italian has selected countryman Mario Balotelli as one of the players he believes can fire City into Champions League qualification contention and lead the club into a new era. However, despite being a talented and physically able forward, the ex-Inter striker’s appeal is jaded by the fact that he has a terrible attitude and temperament, something that a leading club paying massive wages shouldn’t need to endure. Despite showing glimpses of excellence on the pitch in his first season in England, ‘Super Mario’ is often distant, lazy and disrespectful, and if the striker’s attitude doesn’t change Mancini would be best advised sending Balotelli back to Italy.

Mario Balotelli: Cleverer with his legs than his hands

By Shourin Roy on March 18, 2011 9:20 PM | Comments | TrackBacksShare|

Needless to say, Mario Balotelli might not be your preferred house guest for dinner if a rack of ribs is on the menu. But it does make him look human after all those horror stories of an aloof, supercilious, and thoroughly disagreeable personality. He actually smiles sheepishly. Now let his feet speak in that Man Utd FA Cup semi-finals. Bib optional.

Unhinged Manchester City Striker Mario Balotelli Has Stunning New WAG (Pics)

1 comment by Mad Dog and Glory on February 2nd, 2011

Who Ate All The Pies are reporting that slightly mental Manchester City front man Mario Balotelli is apparently in the middle of an ‘intense’ relationship with serial WAG Sara Tommasi which gives us all the excuse we need to show you images of the rather attractive woman in question.

Mario super happy at City

Mario Balotelli has insisted he is happy at Manchester City and happy scoring goals – even if he does not always show it.

The 20-year-old Italian striker has seldom cut a cheerful figure at the English Premier League club since his August move from Serie A club Inter Milan, with persistent rumours he is homesick and is angling for a move to AC Milan.

City manager Roberto Mancini has also said he wants Balotelli to ’smile’ more, particularly after scoring.

His young striker nabbed a hat-trick against Aston Villa on Tuesday, but again failed to celebrate with any enthusiasm.

Nonetheless, Balotelli has insisted he is content at City and wants to add to his tally of eight goals in 12 appearances for the club.

“I am always happy, even when I don’t smile,” he told the club’s official website.

“But I feel a striker has to score. It is my job. That is why I don’t smile. I am still happy and I can score more.”

Balotelli also denied reports he is keen on a return to Milan, and is committed to keeping City in title contention: “I am very happy even if the journalists in Italy say I want to go to Milan.”

“I am here and I am working hard in training. I want to be an important man for this team and the results are on the pitch.”

“We can win this championship. In the new year we can be better.”

Manchester City Striker Mario Balotelli Heading for AC Milan Move?

"Aug 17, 2010 - Manchester, United Kingdom - PROFESSIONALISM, endeavour and humility are the three words MARIO BALOTELLI has engraved on the gold pendant that hangs from his neck. 'It was a present from my mother,' he explained yesterday after being unveiled as Manchester City's latest signing. His mother clearly knows him well, because Balotelli's past would suggest that he needs to be reminded to follow what reads like a code on a daily basis." /
