« Daniel Agger, Dani Pacheco, and Other Friday Notes | Home | redtrev73Is it just me or does anyone else suspect that carra's name might be added to that list of voices in woy's head in noel's comic strip?? Just get the feeling that his influence is stronger than ever. Not necessarily a bad thing (i mean the lad is mr. liverpool in my humble opinion) but he is VERY old school and not the biggest fan of johnny foreigner. I don't want to sound like i'm maligning the guy in any way, he's been my favourite player for years, but his recent comments on the academy and the fact that he and stevie reputedly favoured curbishley over rafa back in 2004 do emphasise his preference for the old way and the english coach. Woy has also recently dubbed him 'talismanic' and he seemed infinitely more gutted about his absence than stevie's. I only mention it as a kind of insight into how a certain J. Henry might have had a very pro-woy chat with our number 23 and this may in turn explain his very public backing for the hodge. I know if i had carra in my earhole i'd probably just agree with the lad...just ask soto about his powers of, eh, encouragement.GrubbHi fellas. Boring. (...)elninowhatever does this mean? honestlyEdClearly it's a meditation on the biases of the English punditry when dealing with domestic managers versus those from outside the borders of that bastion of footballing intellect and the influences of said punditry on our perception.
Also, that Roy Hodgson doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground.NoelThat sounds about right. Except for the big words.blog comments powered by Disqus
