Well that was quick. It was just on Tuesday we saw Aaron suit up for the reserves for 45 minutes against Wolves. Wenger didn’t give any sign that he was going to send Ramsey on loan, so this has come as a bit of a surprise. Nevertheless, it seems that Ramsey will be on loan to Nottingham Forest FC until January 3 2011.
Mixed feelings for this move. On the one hand, he needs to get fit and healthy again. On the other hand, is this the right way to go about it? The reserves only have two games between now and the beginning of January, so perhaps the club felt that going out on loan with a club in the Championship would be for the best. I’m sure that the medical staff will be keeping a close eye on him to monitor his progress. However, I’m sure we’re all thinking about the possibility of him picking up another injury. The Championship isn’t exactly a kind and gentle league. Then again, neither is the Premiership, and we’ll be going to Stoke very soon. I’m a bit all over the place, I know, but ultimately this could be good for him. The best case scenario is that he gets some games and starts to regain his fitness to ready his return to Arsenal. I wish him the best of luck and hope he comes back in January in one piece to join our team again.
Other loan news: Henri Lansbury is now on loan with Norwich City for a short month-long loan spell. He needs playing time and isn’t getting it with the first team right now, so I think this is a great move for him. All the best to Lansbury! I’m sure he will be tweeting us updates about his time there to keep us in the loop.

« New Gunner Ryo Miyaichi could lead the way for Arsenal to take over Japan | Home | Marcus LeeI live in Nottingham and follow Forest as well as Arsenal, the current manager Billy Davies has got them playing good passing football thats been described as the best in the league last season when they reached the playoffs but were unlucky to get knocked out. This seasons been a bit up & down so far but the championship is never simple, I think the deal could work well cuz Forest sold one of their first choice midfielders James Perch to Newcastle in the summer and never replaced him so they are a quality man down in the centre (this was a major irritant for the manager who nearly walked out as a result but thats another story). Good luck to Arron I'll be sure to head down & catch a few of his performances over xmas.SairaxThanks Marcus! Feel free to come by and let us know how he doing. I'll add you to twitter as well.
