Saudi Arabian football giants Al Hilal have appointed Gabriel Calderon as their new manager. Calderon replaces former Marseille boss Eric Gerets in the hot seat at Al Hilal.

Calderon, an Argentine midfielder, who played 23 times for the national team between 1981 and 1990, was last seen in charge of Al Hilal’s domestic rivals Al Ittihad. He has also briefly been in charge of the Saudi Arabian national football team.
