Liverpool midfielder Christian Poulsen has snubbed a move back to Denmark this summer, according to his agent Jorn Bonnesen.
The 31-year-old has not established himself in the first-team this season after moving from Juventus.
He was signed by former manager Roy Hodgson but has not been given a chance under his replacement Kenny Dalglish.
Along with Paul Konchesky, Poulsen has come to symbolise everything Hodgson got wrong to the Liverpool supporters.
There were reports the Denmark international could make a return to Copenhagen but his agent has dismissed any such move.
“Danish football is of no interest to him this summer,” Bonnesen told Bold. “It is not in Christian’s thinking.
“Christian really likes life at Liverpool, both on and off the field. He has a contract for another two years and will continue working hard to secure more playing time.
“He has been out with a hamstring injury for recent matches – that’s why he hasn’t been in the squad.
“Liverpool have a few injuries at the moment, so there will be opportunities for him in the run-in.”
