I thought he had a good day, was pressing up the pitch and had numerous interceptions and tackles that broke what little attack Braga had and turned them into our own silky smooth attack. Not a legendary performance, but worth at least an extra point or two for me.Sairax@_denilson15 on twitcam! And he's drinking Sprite!Sairaxhttp://twitcam.livestream.com/21i3pSairaxI liked Nasri today, he was moving well and was wiggling through defenders with the ball. Good to see he's healthy. I think his effectiveness was probably diminished because he was playing out wide. Song was great today and I think you're right that his backup is the weakest of all positions, so good to see he got some rest. Arshavin and Cesc, just wonderful. Arshavin doesn't even look like he's firing on all cylinders and he's still imposing his influence. I don't care if Cesc cries in his Cheerios every morning about Barca, as long as he performs like this, I'm good.
I have to give massive credit to Kos and Chamakh (and Squizz to a lesser extent). They came to the EPL and got knocked about right off the bat. Yet Kos has kept his composure and showed his commitment and enthusiasm and Chamakh has displayed his quality of movement and class as a striker. These days you aren't even allowed 10 games to get settled, which is a lot of pressure when you think about it. For them to fit in so well with the team so far is very impressive and I look forward to seeing them get even better as the season progresses.SairaxJust in case you missed Eboue's warmup http://twitpic.com/2ordiqmrChamHaha, gotta love this guy!SairaxWatching Jack's wonderful performance tonight makes me think of how far Ramsey would have come by now.SairaxI'll add that Jack looked a bit more calm and composed today. He plays with a youthful exuberence which is refreshing, but sometimes makes him a bit hurried or excitable in his play. Glad to see him doing well in the first team.Darren_VAs promising as Vela is/can be, I think I will with hold my opinion until he does something in a game that really matters. I could be mistaken, but I don't beleive he has ever offered anything for the Arsenal first team except coming on in blowouts and offering a nice goal. I'd like to see it in a tight game.
Of course, he has to be given the chance, and some woul argue he hasn't had that yet.SairaxDon't be a hater, he's our Mexican Chippy!Darren_VSorry, just alittle jaded from his performance, or lack thereof, last year.SairaxJust admit it. You hate Mexicans. In particular, little Mexican Chippys.Darren_VI really want to... but then I recall crying to see Vela playing at the beginning of last year.
Sigh.brentonwaltersIt's clear that Darren V is racist. Martin loves Spurs, Darren is racist. What an odd bunch.DavidtheraveidIt was an absolute pleasure. I even had non-arsenal fans txting me telling how much they loved it!!blog comments powered by Disqus
