Arsenal - Braga Match Thread

">digg: reddit: stumbleupon:OtgonboldWilshire will be like Jesus ....BrentonwaltersAnd I picked today to work...PeevishLoved Fabregas' post-game interview - he's disappointed that he didnt get a hat-trick and more assists. Yea it was a pretty average performance, Cesc.
Also loved the fact that he appeared to spit on the interviewer's feet several times during the interview, if my streamed picture is to be trusted!Isabel_GNot to mention he said: "I've always felt fantastic here and I'm very happy to be here,"Homey_MillsI didn't get to see any of it, but is this what it feels like to be a Chelsea fan? Getting 6-0 wins is sweet. The people writing the comments on the espn page said it was some brilliant stuff too. I'll watch highlights later.Isabel_GTis the night to be an Arsenal fan :DSairaxAnd no one got injured! It's a miracle! Don't have to look for Martin showing up in the papers nowDarren_VWhat about in a delirious drunken orgasmic state?Gigi_manI am in love with our team!! The client leaves the office as the match is over, I hate the guy!Isabel_GWhat time is it in the U.S. now? It must be really frustrating having Arsenal games during the day!Gigi_manActually for me it is frustrating especially for UCL games, byt then again, I love Srsenal so much that i d take any day the fact of not watching if they will score 6 for me :)

Even though I have almost the same time as Miami, I am in Panama hehe, but still...frustrating :)MartinNot if you're (albeit temporarily) unemployed!Darren_VAlways fun to bash another club.
Arshavin had a goal and 2 assists tonight. And 4 goals in 6 games.
We all know his warts, but he has started the season brightly, despite missing 43234 chances v Bolton.
Fabregas is class, and Wilshere had a great game.Gigi_manYep, I am happy for Arsha my beloved, and for Velita man!SairaxAh, that was lovely :)PeevishThis is fun!Isabel_GWhat a ball from Wilshere! 6-0, Vela scoresunlearnel maestro del los chipIsabel_G5-0! Wonderful from Arshavin and Vela!Darren_VSo close to the hattrickAlexinho4-0, good final ball from Arshavin...THAT was bad defense from Braga right there.

Vela time--c'mon Wenger.unlearnrosicky time. (scratch that)

your boy is on...Isabel_GGreat header from Fabregas ! 4-0unlearnwaiting patiently to see the galloping pony (rosicky) enter the pitch.PeevishI have to say, I am beginning to feel the early fluttering of a man-crush on Chamakh. And with hair like his, that is a very, very hard thing to admit to.SairaxDon't fight it man, just let it happenPeevishBut its so flat. And Spiky. And also flat.
It hurts .....Darren_VIt hurts? Atleast the spikes aren't in your face :)PeevishIt hurts the most that I have seen what a man*cough*Martin*cough*-crush can do to a *cough*Bendtner*cough* manAlexinhoOur passing and movement have been EXCEPTIONAL.

Jack Wilshere has been EXCEPTIONAL.

Marouane Chamakh has been EXCEPTIONAL.

Best of all, our overall defense and eagerness to win back the ball have been EX-CEPTIONAL.

The sloppiness of Arshavin's passing has been EXCEPTIONAL, though.AlexinhoNot to jump the gun, but in playing our fifth (?) game of the season, our low point has been a comeback draw at Anfield, and we've had a handy win against Blackpool, an unlikely away win at Blackpool, a strong performance against Bolton. In this game, quite exceptionally (there's that word again), we really are deserving a shutout against Braga with one half gone, and taking our chances.

Our new boys have been clicking very well, and most players look quite improved.

Man U and Liverpool are falling behind.

I just gotta feeling...as long as we don't play any teams that don't begin with the letter "B."

Of course, Man U always starts out slow, and we typically start off with a sprint.

But I can't wait to play Chelsea three Sundays from now. We just might be looking at a top-two finish here.

One last thing: let's wait a few games to really see, but don't be surprised if Diaby AND van Persie have trouble getting back into the lineup when they come back in about a month or so.Gigi_manstupid yahoo live, I am in the middle of a meeting with a client that cries his bills...and the only way to stay put is internet..I should have come to my friends first! the stupid board marked 1-0 all along, and I missed the emotion of the moments...sighGigi_manAlthough (thx Sairax for the tip, now I can write and bore u all haha), i am not complaining, I ll take a million times not to know on time but be up by 3 any day!unlearnhere's a stat: chamakh has scored in each of his last 4 champion's league matches...solid as they come.unlearnthis is a route...Darren_Vhaha, 3-0. Some terrible defending by Braga thoughIsabel_GChamakh Attack! What a flick from Wilshere though!Homey_MillsAnyone have a good stream? I'm apparently missing a few goals here.unlearni've been trying to get you a link too, didn't know disqus won't let you do that. atdhe dot net is always a good source...Darren_VI'd post a link but it wont let me, stuppid freaking disqus
PeevishThe Sp*rs match was yesterday, Homey
:DHomey_MillsDang, did I miss my favorite team?PeevishYea sorry, but if you wanted to watch proper football, the veetle link on myp2p is working for me (its not letting me post the direct link on here)Darren_VARSHAVIN!!!unlearnyeah, the boyscout smashes one home! naysayers can quiet down now :)unlearnanyone notice how many fouls/penalties chamakh draws? the opposition never seems to know how to stop him when he's in stride.Isabel_GWilshere needs to work on his finishing, but hes looked good so far! :DPeevishArshavin is looking pretty awful, though. Lets hope that sets up a wonder goal.Isabel_G2-0 Arsenal :D Arshavin goal!PeevishI thank you ...Peevish2 minutes in and already a penalty not given. sighSairaxI missed the first 3 min, what happened? (Setanta froze on my tv, had to scramble for a stream!)PeevishYou've missed the Cesc Fabregas Show!Isabel_G1-0 Arsenal, Fabregas penalty!
SairaxI saw that part :) Thanks!unlearnNOT happy Nasri is getting the start ahead of Rosicky, but other than that, looks good...EdI'm adopting Arsenal for this year's Champions League. Don't tell anyone.PeevishIt's ok Ed, its nice to have meaningful games to follow - we understand.EdIn that case, I take it back.BrentonwaltersC'mon, Peevish, that nil-nil draw with Birmingham was highly meaningful. (Ducks in case we fail to beat Birmingham later in the season, a distinct possibility.)EdYes, it meant that Liverpool are still like watching paint dry.
PeevishYep, but you'll never caulk alone...

I'm sorry. Disqus, you have my permission to delete my accountDarren_VNo Lima? WowSairaxI'll keep the bail money ready, just in casePeevishYea, good idea, but lets just hope Almunia doesn't get injured, as I fear the sight of Flaps will ensure Martin won't even be allowed bail.Darren_VI wonder how Martin will fair in a fist fight... He can get fiesty when pushed :)SairaxOh dear....well this place is full of lawyers, so it shouldn't be a problem. Might need to keep the defibrillator on standby thoughPeevishDefibrillator, hmm yea good idea, although after the bombshell dropped in the last post that Martin is a secret Sp*rs fan, I'm not so sure he has a heart (sorry couldn't resist :P )BrentonwaltersIt's clear from all his posts that Martin bleeds Hotspur white. Shameful.
