Juventus have officially completed the signing of young goalkeeper Laurentiu Branescu from Romanian club RM Valcea. Young teenage keeper Branescu has been identified by Juventus as a long term successor to the club’s legendary stopper Gianluigi Buffon.
According to reports, Juventus have paid Valcea a transfer fee of 400,000 euros for Laurentiu Branescu’s services, plus additions as the player completes important milestones. Apart from Juventus, the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Aston Villa were also interested in securing the 16 year old goalkeeper’s services.
