These are some of the things I’m thankful for on this match-day morning:
I’m thankful for giving away a promising young left back on low wages.
I’m thankful for Kuyt not being first on the team-sheet now that we’ve got Poulsen.
And I’m thankful that we’ll be using a defensive set-up that might actually work against a team like Blackpool. As long as they haven’t seen any footage from our previous matches.
But more seriously, I really am thankful for all the supporters who will be joining in the pre-match march and post-match sit in this week. In a year of lows, at least there are still reminders of what’s best about this club and its supporters.
Leave your thanks or otherwise pass the time below, all you folks who don’t have to set the alarm clock on weekends to watch some football, and Ed will be along in a little while with the match-day thread.
