MOTM Poll: Chelsea 2-0 Arsenal

By: Jack | October 3rd, 2010

Guess who?

dids

Dear God. It was glorious!

I’m at a loss for words at the moment. Seriously, I am. I lost my voice erupting when Alex finally reserved his place amongst the Twelve Olympians with one of the most stunning free kicks I have been blessed to witness.

As commenter Chelsea so eloquently put it: “I have no doubt Apollo and those gods at the Acropolis were watching… And Alex forever resides among them! Arsenal should have read the prophesies of the Cumaen Sybil to have know that Alex is capable of such.”

Indeed.

Then there’s The Mighty One. Truly the torturer of souls.

More on the game later. For now, get your votes in for today’s man of the match. A touch choice this one. KTBFFH

Can't complain anyway!RyanGreat post and could not say it any better, nearly an hour after the game and still speechless; and the gods truly must have had moist tears in their eyes after the Mighty Drog's clever touch and my oh my Alex's boost with Malouda moving out of the way in time. Mr. Cole stepping up tremendously with his assist and if only a foot behind the play, would have been a wonderful goal. A few too many offsides, but even pushed back waiting on the counter spring we showed what were made up; yes at times we were a little complacent, we did give up a few balls in our area, but at the end of the day our Blues shine on, nice little break hopefully no one gets injured and can't wait to Lamps to get back into the fray!JackRight on.CharlieIt has to be Alex imo, just for the sake of his goal. Although Drogba was fine too.blog comments powered by Disqus
